Recommended charging current

I’m going to use the 40mAh battery with another charger (BQ25170). What charging current is recommended for this battery? I can’t find it anywhere.

Hi @banddans002, here to help! Because the batteries are 1C the recommended charging current is 40mA. The BQ25170 supports charge current adjustment, so you’d want to configure it for:

Charge current (CC phase) 40mA

Charge voltage (CV phase)4.2V

Termination current~4mA (typically C/10)
