What is the dimension of the hex hole on the Screw M3 6mm HEX? Is it 2mm, the same as the Allen key 2mm? Will the Threaded insert M3 3mm work for insertion into 3D printed PETG?

Yes, the dimension of the M3 screw’s hex hole is 2mm, the same as the Allen key 2mm. You can use that insert for 3D printing and acrylic sheet.
