I’m searching for a thin led strip, liek a cob, max 3mm wide but fully addressable. In other words, a consistent line of light source that can be fully programmable.
Does anyone know if something like this exists or any ways that can be made?

Good question, on our webstore the closest match we have is our WS2812B Addressable RGB LED Strip 5V. Each LED has its own built-in WS2812 IC, so every diode can be independently controlled across 16.7 million colors over a single data wire, available in 30 or 60 LEDs/m. One thing to flag: it’s 10mm wide, not 3mm, we don’t currently stock an addressable strip that narrow, so if 3mm is a hard requirement this won’t quite fit, but it’s the closest addressable option we carry.
To drive it, you’ll need a microcontroller, 5V logic level is best for this strip, so our NULA Core is a solid fit.
