The water level sensor works as a switch. When the water level activates it, it closes the circuit. When the water level drops, it breaks the circuit. To detect the water level, you can connect the sensor via a MOSFET and add for example a diode to show you when water has reached the sensor. Alternatively, you can use a microcontroller to read the sensor state and then based on that state turn on LEDs, an alarm (piezo) or send information somewhere on the internet. For the latter option you would need a microcontroller and program code to run on it.
senzor razine vode radi kao sklopka. Kada ga razina vode aktivira, on zatvori strujni krug. Kada razina vode padne, prekida strujni krug. Za detekciju razine vode možete spojiti senzor preko mosfeta i staviti npr. diodu da Vam pokazuje kada je voda došla do senzora. Osim toga možete koristiti mikrokontroler s kojim čitate stanje senzora i onda na osnovu stanja se pale diode, alarm (piezo) ili pak šaljeu informacije nekuda na internet. Za ovo drugo bi Vam trebao mikrokontroler i programski kod koji se izvodi na njemu.

Is there something based on sonar technology? I need to have some display or indicator where I can see the water level, because this is for wastewater, and it’s important for me to know when it gets close to the highest point before it starts overflowing. The problem is that if I only see a LED light up, that doesn’t give me insight into how fast it’s filling.

Znaci da ja imam neki display ili celer na kojem vidim dokle je razina vode dosla jer to mie za otpadne vode , i bitno mie da znam kada dodje blizu najvise tocke prie nego se pocme izljevat .? Hvala Jer ako samo vidim diodu kad svjetli ne daje mi neki uvid koliko se brzo puni… Hvala

You can try using an ultrasonic sensor to detect the water level. The problem with that is that these are wastewater and there are various gases inside that will damage the sensor over time. Other options are capacitive or resistive measurement, but I haven’t researched much on that so I’m mentioning them as examples so you can see what options exist. We also have a laser distance sensor in our offering, but since it’s water which is not a solid material, it could be a problem with the laser because it will reflect in the water and that can cause problems with the measurement. I hope I’ve at least helped you a bit; in any case you have a few options and can research which is best for your case.
Možete probati koristiti ultrazvučni senzor i s njim detektirati razinu vode. Problem kod toga je što su to otpadne vode i ima raznih plinova unutra koji će tijekom vremena oštetiti senzor. Druge opcije su kapacitivno ili rezistivno mjerenje ali o tome nisam puno istraživao te to navodim kao primjere kako bi mogli vidjeti koje sve opcije postoje. Nadam se da sam Vam barem malo pomogao, ako ništa imate par opcija te možete istražiti što je bolje za vaš slučaj.
