Customer:
I’d like to check the status of the ThingSpeak channel I write to and verify if a data point has been uploaded. How can I do that?
Via the JSON I can get the response, and I thought to get the entry_id to check if it’s updating, but I’m not sure how to get this into the micro:bit code.

I got the GET request to work with status.json and part of the string is passed to the OLED. I also found that I can get only the last entry using:
http://api.thingspeak.com/channels//12634/feeds/last.json
But I have difficulties getting this to work and outputting the data on the OLED of the Micro:bit. Do I need to process the string?

You’re on the right path. When you get the string, it contains all the data in JSON format. You would need to extract the data from the JSON or from the string to get your field1, field2, etc. values.
